Hi!
My name is Caleb Staker. I am an artist and creative entrepreneur that has worked in the animation industry for almost 9 years.
Over the course of my career I have been blessed to work in many roles. I have been a character designer in both TV and feature film, I have worked as a storyboard artist, illustrator and art director etc.
In addition to my experience as an artist I have also explored my second passion which is entrepreneurship. Over the past 6 years I have started 4 successful businesses on my own and 3 other ventures with partners.
One of those business is the Little Magic Studio and mentorship program.
This studio and art education program is one that is continuing to evolve to fit the needs of the art community and the needs of my currently enrolled students.
All of the products, programs and opportunities you will find on this site will have 2 core things in common.
A focus to develop and grow your skills as an artist. Despite the changes with AI and the uncertainty in fields like animation, creative skills are important and have many applications.
A focus on entrepreneurship. I don’t discourage getting a job, working at a studio or freelancing for a company. I’m actually an industry expert in networking and will teach you how to find work with others. But I also believe in having the skills to provide for yourself as an artist. Putting yourself in a position of consistency and peace when it comes to careers and income. So all those I work with will gain insights on how to build a self sustaining creative life. Not one that depends on a studio paycheck.
